About Rich Bassford
Hi there, I'm Rich Bassford, your experienced neighborhood real estate expert, and I've got the
inside scoop on turning dreams into reality in the Quad Cities.
With 23 years in the real estate business and a history of success from running an automotive
business, I've become the go-to guy in the Quad City real estate market. Since my second year
in the business, I've consistently hit multi-million-dollar production levels, showcasing the best of
what our wonderful Quad Cities have to offer.
In 2014, after over a decade of success, I opened my own RE/MAX franchise – RE/MAX Elite
Homes in Moline, IL. It was a state-of-the-art building with all the bells and whistles, featuring
offices for over twenty-five agents and a setup for unlimited work-at-home agents. It had a
stunning water wall, a chic conference room, and a cozy cafe area for a shared agent
workspace. In 2016 I expanded with a second office in Davenport, IA, and again in 2017 in
Camanche, IA, bringing RE/MAX to new areas.
As a Moline High School alum, I've earned designations in the Graduate REALTOR® Institute
(GRI) and Council of Residential Specialists (CRS). Customer service is my bread and butter,
and I've built lasting relationships with clients through a combination of integrity, communication,
and knowledge of the market. I'm all about accessibility, with several full-time assistants
ensuring my clients are always taken care of.
For many years I've been the #1 volume-producing RE/MAX REALTOR® in the Quad Cities,
with well over 4000 closed transactions in my career. I'm also a longtime supporter of Children's
Miracle Network, donating a portion of every commission check to the cause. In 2013 I took a
meaningful 1300-mile, 6-day trip on my jet ski to raise over $15,000 for Children’s Miracle
Network.
When I'm not closing deals, I juggle multiple hats – running Bassford Construction LLC, owning
dreamy Airbnb homes in Florida, and enjoying family time with my wife Hillary, our four kids, and
our trusty dog, Stella. There's jet skiing, fishing, traveling, and a bit of pool league action in the
mix too.
My ultimate career goal is to help as many folks as possible achieve their dream of home
ownership. I stand out from others in the field by bringing my integrity, community know-how,
